Profile of Jan Haggie

Ian Haggie contributed widely to varied aspects of South African life including: education, health, finance, culture and the arts. His greatest contribution was the establishment of Primary Health Care Clinics in South Africa. In this he was assisted by the Order of St John, a world-wide organizations synonymous with the current ambulance, first-aid and home-care services. Among his prized possessions he treasured the Bailiff Grand Cross awarded by the Queen of England.
