The Independent Commission for Remuneration of Public Office Bearers will, on Friday 26 August 2011, hold a media briefing at the Union Buildings to announce its recommendations.

The Commission, chaired by Judge Willie Seriti, was established by the Constitution and in terms of legislation is mandated to make annual recommendations regarding the salaries and benefits of all public office bearers.

Judge Seriti will outline the recommendations of the Commission for the financial year 2011-2012.
