National Dialogue Debate Postponed
The President’s national dialogue debate has been postponed. President Zuma had announced during the Presidency Budget Vote speech that he would convene a national dialogue on unity and social cohesion on the 29th of July. Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma arrived in Uganda this morning to participate in the 15th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government (HoSG) of the African Union starting today July 24 until July 27, 2010. This African Union Summit is taking place under the theme of “Maternal, Infant and Child Health and Development in Africa” in view of the critical importance of the 4th and 5th Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), due to be reviewed later this September at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.24 July 2010

President Jacob Zuma will lead the South African delegation to the 15th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly, scheduled to take place from 25 to 27 July 2010 in Kampala, Uganda under the theme “Maternal, Infant and Child Health and Development in Africa”. The President will be supported by the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi; Minister of Public Services and Administration, Mr Richard Baloyi; and Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, Ms Buyelwa Sonjica. Minister of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane will thus lead the delegation to the 17th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council, scheduled to take place from 22 to 23 July 2010.21 July 2010
