Thank you, to the acting CEO, Ms.Phumla Williams, I am indeed honored to be addressing this year's Government Communication's Forum, it is my understanding that the GCF takes place three times a year and is attended by senior communicators from national and provincial government as well as those from State Owned Entities. It is a platform through which the GCIS aligns the government message with the delivery from government institutions, and this particular Forum's focus is on the key strategic decisions taken by Cabinet at the mid-year Lekgotla with the aim of developing communication plans to support the decisions and pronouncements of the Lekgotla14 September 2012
