Following his discharge from hospital yesterday, former President Nelson Mandela has resumed his normal day to day life. He is recuperating at home with the support of his family.

In this regard, there will therefore be no further updates from the Presidency at this stage. The Presidency thanks the media for support and cooperation as well as messages of support and well wishes that continue to reach the Presidency through the Presidential Hotline.
