2010 IMC concludes World Cup close-out report to be presented to Cabinet

Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe this afternoon concluded a meeting of the 2010 Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) in Tuynhuys, Cape Town. Government is currently in the process of concluding the compilation the close-out report on the hosting of the 2010 FIFA World Cup by the country.

Deputy President Motlanthe to chair the 2010 Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) Meeting in Cape Town

Government’s 2010 Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC), which is chaired by Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe, convenes on Tuesday, 31 August 2010, at Tuynhuys, Cape Town. The Committee is in the process of putting together a final government report which will summarize all logistical and capital resources channeled towards the preparations of the 2010 FIFA World Cup held in South Africa during June-July months.
