Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa attends the Eid prayer and celebration, Lenasia, Gauteng

Lenasia – Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will tomorrow, Monday, 26 June 2017, attend and address the Eid prayer and celebrations, at Lenasia Eidgar, Gauteng province.   

The Eid prayer and Celebration is one of the largest assemblies of the Muslim community in South Africa and represents a day of accomplishment after a month of fasting. 

It is also a day of compassion marked by the compulsory discharge of charity prior to the Eid prayer that is spent on the less fortunate people of our country.
